Rounders are men and women who try to ride their motorcycles in every one of the 12 months of the year. Four Mid-Western riders, one each from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin, were inspired by an East Coast resident known to us as the Old Kar Kook. The Kook was an older gentleman who was riding at single digit temps and this inspired the Fantastic Four to push their temperature limits as well.

One thing led to another and a name was birthed along with a logo, several Mottos (among them Slush Sucks, No Whining, and others) and an official Rounder cuss word: Dang! Everyone is Welcome The Rounders idea was conceived by Mid-Western people who ride BMW’s, but it is open to riders of all marques from everywhere.

If you want to be a Rounder all it takes is for you to do your best to ride all year round – and push your personal envelope every season to ride in colder or warmer temps than you have in the past. Piece of cake! In order to qualify as a ride in a particular temperature, you must go at least 10 miles – it takes at least two or three miles for the *&^% wind chill to really show up!
